Wella To Cut 1,200 Jobs As P&G Moves In

Wella will cut 1,200 jobs in production and distribution as it consolidates its operations with those of its new owner, Procter & Gamble Co. About 200 of the jobs that will be eliminated in the next 12 to 24 months are in Germany, the Darmstadt-based company said, while the rest are spread across the U.S., Mexico, South Korea, Indonesia and elsewhere.
